Considering how Apple just reinvented the text book with the new iBooks 2 App, the best feature about iBooks 2 is the ability of authors to write textbooks and publish them on iBooks. The free app allows authors and publishers to start creating with Apple-designed templates that feature a wide variety of page layouts. Unfortunately, creating content with iBooks Author isn't always as easy as you might hope it is. Apple today announced that it would begin offering digital textbooks on the iPad via its iBooks app. Made with iBooks Author, these books bring ideas and stories to life.
